With the blessings of Sri Radha Brajabihariji and Srila Prabhupada, the Founder Acharya of ISKCON we have inaugurated the Bhaktivedanta Kanya Vidyashrama on the auspicious occasion of Sri Ganga Puja, June 16th 2024.
The school is owned by Balaji Empowerment Services Trust, which is dedicated for the care and empowerment of children, women, teachers, cows and elderly.
We empower our members to lead a Krishna conscious way of life and to perform welfare activities for the benefit of others with their life, wealth, intelligence and words.
In next five years we envision to expand the vidyashrama for the members of society at large. It will act as a place of transcendental pastimes and services dedicated to Sri Sri Radha BrajBihari.
The purpose of this vidyashrama is to create good practicing members of Bharatiya Sanskriti who are receiving systematic training and education in knowledge, skills and values of Bharatiya Shiksha and Krishna consciousness.
Bhagavat, Pancharartik, Vedic and Contemporary education given in a way that helps our members get nearer to the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna and nearer to each other. We also want to ensure that graduates are materially well situated and capable of making meaningful contributions to the society, leading a simpler and natural way of life.
We also want to instill a spirit of teaching and encouraging Sankirtan movement of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, with the help of education, culture and services aimed at uplifting people in general. We also want to start similar educational projects wherever possible and publish and distribute audio, video, text, web materials and courses using varieties of media.
Bhaktivedanta Kanya Vidya Ashrama is a day school for girls, primarily run by women. It is a full-fledged facility for training in following 5 fields. We currently do not provide lodging and boarding facilities.
